The Arm Lift procedure has become quite popular in recent years for both women and men. People interested in the arm lift fall into four primary categories, including:

The Incision

The incisions used in the procedure may be located under the arm pit and along the inside of the arm.

The Technique

Dr. Hardesty and Dr. Bennett use refined techniques to provide an enhancement that is ideal for individual patient needs. There are several techniques or a combination of techniques that may be used in the arm lift procedure, including:

  • Liposuction to remove excess fat
  • Excision of excess tissue
  • Excision of excess skin
Arm Lift Recovery

Recovery from the arm lift procedure is usually straight forward. Patients often return to most normal daily activities within several days following the procedure. Usually, by 6 weeks, there are no restrictions to returning to full exercise. Typically, the procedure is not very invasive so there is usually not a lot of pain associated with the procedure. Patients will receive a list of instructions that must be followed to reduce the risk of complications and allow for a smooth recovery. The results from the arm lift procedure are instantaneous and the scars are minimized over time. Women and men are typically satisfied with the results of the procedure. In fact, the results of the procedure usually last for many years.
