The Procedure

The success of the procedure is highly dependant upon the skill of the surgeon to use up-to-date fat preparation techniques. Dr. Hardesty and Dr. Bennett use advanced techniques to create augmentation in the buttocks that provides for an enhanced appearance.

The Incisions

Incisions are required in the buttock lift procedure and the Brazilian Butt Lift. In the Brazilian butt lift approach, tiny incisions in discreet locations will be made in the area that the fat will be removed and inserted. The standard buttock requires an incision made along the top of the buttocks.

Buttock Augmentation Techniques

The Brazilian butt lift technique involves the removal of fat in an area of the body that has ample fat such as the stomach or flanks. Liposuction is used to remove the fat. Then, Dr. Hardesty and Dr. Bennett prepare and purify the fat. Finally, the fat is injected into select areas of the buttocks to augment the area.

Recovery Period

Dr. Hardesty and Dr. Bennett provide instructions to help ensure a smooth recovery from the butt augmentation procedure. People usually resume normal daily activities within a few days following the procedure. Usually, by 6 weeks, there are no restrictions to returning to full exercise. The results are immediate and typically last for many years.
