Thigh Lift

eliminate excess skin and fat on your thighs. imagine your thighs not touching each other!

Both men and women can acquire or are born with unwanted contours of the outer and inner thighs. The appearance of thick, bulging inner and outer thighs with saggy loose stretched skin can preclude wearing certain clothes, interfere with exercise and lower one’s self-esteem. This unwanted fat and loose skin can be because of diet-resistant fat, loose skin after weight loss, fat accumulation after pregnancy, or just being born with it genetically. When there is a combination of both diet-resistant fat and hanging skin liposuction alone will only take care of the excess fat but will most likely result in looser and hanging skin. Imagine not having your inner thighs touch each other, rub together as you walk or run, the ability to wear shorts and clothes that you cannot now. You can be rid of the fat accumulation of the outer thighs and not look like a “violin” with bulging hips, but rather having normal, sleek, tight curves and contour.

Customize Your Look: Thigh Lift Options

Common to all the thigh lifts is both liposuction and resection of excess skin and fat. The larger the resection of skin and fat the longer the resultant healed incision will be. However, we have the special and scientific proven anti-scar program. It is instituted after the incisions are healed consisting of Embrace technology and silicone gel strips. Injectable steroids and lasers are available when needed to treat stubborn scars.

Depending on the extent of the thigh lift needed that Dr. Hardesty determines during the consultation appointment, he will help choose a treatment option that will be most beneficial to you.

Inner Thigh lift

Divided into three similar but progressive resection procedures, each removing more fat and loose skin.

Limited incision inner thigh lift

The incision is limited to the groin. After liposuction of the inner thigh is completed then an ellipse of inner thigh skin and fat is elevated, resected and the mid-thigh skin stretched, and the final incision closed in the groin crease. The resultant incision is hidden above the panty line or under bathing suit bottoms

Upper inner thigh lift

Similar to the limited incision thigh lift with an extension down the central area of the inner thigh stopping at the mid-thigh.

Extended upper inner thigh lift

Similar to the upper inner thigh lift with an extension down the central area of the inner thigh stopping just above the inner

Outer Thigh lift

Liposuction is first completed to sculpt and remove any diet-resistant fat accumulation of the outer thigh. Then the loose skin is elevated and the fat and skin resected. The outside thigh skin is stretched over the underlying new improved contour with final incisional closure designed to be located within the panty line or where the bathing suit would cover it resulting in a sleek outer thigh.

Thigh Lift Recovery

For your procedure, Dr. Hardesty and his team of well-trained professionals will provide instructions for pre-operative as well as post-operative care. Dressings and bandages will be applied to the areas to help with the incisions. Many patients experience some swelling and pain following treatment, but this should subside over a few days. It is vital to be cautious when moving during the first two to three weeks following the procedure. By keeping a relationship with Dr. Hardesty, he can monitor your healing and let you know when all activities can be resumed.
