Medical Aesthetician: Physician supervised skin treatment systems that provide anti-aging benefits, bringing greater beauty to the face and body. One leading benefit to using medical aesthetician services is in the less invasive approach, little to no downtime, reasonable cost, minimal or no pain, and enhancement of all surgical procedures. Medical aesthetician services include: dermaplanning, microdermabrasion, TCA peels, skin care medications (prescription) and skin care packages.

Endermologie (LPG): Endermologie (LPG) is a form of cellulite treatment that also smoothes out localized surface areas of fat that appear as dimpling on the skin. Both women and men have requested this procedure to serve as a replacement for liposuction or an adjunct to liposuction treatment that improves surface fat layers. Treatment sessions involve the use of an instrument that rolls over the surface layer of the skin for up to 45 minutes. The treatment may need to be repeated to maintain the results over time.

Thermage: Thermage may tighten skin on the chin, jaw, eyebrows, neck and body. Thermage also improves the appearance of deep forehead wrinkles and facial or body scars. In fact, the results of Thermage have been known to resemble a minimal lift for areas such as the eyebrows, forehead and body. The procedure involves the use of a numbing agent so that a radio frequency wave instrument may be applied to the skin. In this way, underlying tissue is stimulated, resulting in an enhanced appearance. Recently a large body tip has been relased to shrink and smooth skin of the abdomen and thighs. More than one treatment may be necessary. The results increase over time and may last for up to 3 years.

Photo Rejuvenation: Intense pulse light (IPL) therapy improves dullness, fine lines, pore size and loose skin on the face. In addition, unwanted “sunspots” or uneven pigments of the skin are removed. This treatment is considered less invasive when compared to most lasers because it is not associated with excessive redness or sensitivity. The results are apparent within three weeks following the procedure.

Skin Resurfacing: Skin resurfacing procedures may involve microdermabrasion, chemical peels and laser treatment. Microdermabrasion will improve skin dullness and fine lines. It also offers the most un-invasive approach to skin resurfacing. The technology delivers small particles to the face that mimic and accelerate the skin exfoliation process. Follow up treatments are necessary to maintain the benefits.

Chemical peels are offered at various concentration levels, depending upon the condition of the face. Chemical peels accelerate the exfoliation process to result in a more advanced improvement than provided by microdermabrasion.

Laser skin resurfacing is the most aggressive form of facial skin rejuvenation. Laser light is used to evaporate old skin and stimulate the surface and underlying skin layers. The result of the stimulation is increased collagen production which assists with skin tightness as well as improvements to skin dullness, fine lines, and age spots.

Laser Hair Removal (GentleLASE®): Laser hair removal may treat hair on the face, eyebrows, body, arms, and legs. Laser hair removal focuses on immobilizing hair follicles so that they do not continue to grow. Multiple treatments are required to be repeated until disruption of the hair follicle growth process is complete.

Spider Vein Removal: Red, blue or purple spider veins may be removed through laser VBeam® therapy and/or schlerotherapy. Schlerotherapy does not require anesthesia and treatments take up to 45 minutes. Some patients require more than one treatment session to complete their goals.

Erchonia: Low level light laser that has been shown effective in liposuction but also in clinical trials for prevention and treatment of capsular contracture. Internal scar prevention and treatment.

Ultrasound: Post-operative treatment for swelling and bruising

Fillers: Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Sculptra, and Prevelle

Botox: Prevention of wrinkles

Latisse: Eyelash growth stimulet
